Under the guidance of talented fashion producer Claudio Barbieri, a group of Vietnam’s most promising young models is stepping onto the international stage in Rome.

This marks not only a journey from Vietnam to one of the world’s fashion capitals but also a bold step toward global recognition for the next generation of Vietnamese talent.

Kim Phuong: Star of Vietnamese High Fashion

Kim Phuong (born 1996, Lam Dong, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese fashion model known for her high-fashion look and strong catwalk skills.

2015: Competed in Vietnam’s Next Top Model (Cycle 6), reached Top 13, and later signed with BeU Model Management.

She has also appeared in major fashion events such as Vietnam International Fashion Week and Elle Fashion Show, working with leading Vietnamese designers, including serving as first face for designer Phuong My.

2023: Joined The New Mentor (team Thanh Hang) and was honored as the show’s Best Catwalk Model.

In 2025, Kim Phuong became a catwalk coach at Claudio Barbieri Academy in Saigon, where she trains and mentors young Vietnamese models.

Recognized for her height (1m79), striking proportions (77–58–87), and international-ready style.

Actively builds her influence on Instagram and TikTok, while aiming to expand her career to global fashion markets.

Thanh Thuy: From Martial Arts to the Fashion Runway

Champion of Đẹp Từng Milimet 2022 (Beauty in Every Detail), a valuable modeling competition in Vietnam.

Possesses ideal model measurements (height 1m78, with balanced proportions), meeting the standards required by leading fashion houses in Italy and Paris.

Catwalk skills praised for elegance and decisiveness, with a face and expression suited for Haute Couture.

Former athlete trained at the National Sports Training Center in Can Tho and the An Giang Sports Training Center, with a strong Taekwondo background.

Recognized for fast learning ability in English and dance, combining athletic discipline with artistic performance.

Graduated in 2025 from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, majoring in Finance and Banking.

NModel: A Global Platform for Rising Modeling Stars

Founded in 1986, NMODEL is an international scouting project dedicated to discovering and promoting young modeling talents worldwide.

The contest is open to models aged 15–22, offering them a global platform to launch their careers.

Over the years, NMODEL has been a springboard for many models who went on to work with top fashion houses such as Armani, Versace, Ferre, and Krizia.

The event has been broadcast in collaboration with RAI, and its finals have taken place in prestigious international locations including the Bahamas, Portugal, Kenya, and Morocco.

The event is led by patron Clay Calzolari together with his partner Luca Gammella, marking its 39th edition.

Charlize Theron was the winner in 1991, after being discovered by NMODEL in South Africa and brought to Italy for the contest.

Notable alumni include Charlize Theron (1991), Lorena Forteza, Georgina Greenville, Ester Canadas, Natasha Poly, and Anna Falchi, who later became icons in fashion and entertainment.

NModel & Claudio Barbieri: Finale Internazionale

The NMODEL – Finale Internazionale takes place from September 1 to 7, 2025 at Cinecittà World (Rome, Italy).

The model are from Italy, Spain, Georgia, Santo Domingo, and Vietnam.

Thanh Thuy joins the contest, while Kim Phuong takes the role of catwalk coach.

In the morning, they wake up and have breakfast before splitting into two groups to begin their photoshoots at Cinecittà World.

More than just a competition, it is a celebration of beauty, entertainment, and a launchpad for the next generation of top models.
